As Himachal Pradesh's only certified Cisco Networking Academy open to the public, we are currently offering Cisco's IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software, which covers the assessment and assembling of computers, installation of operating systems, preparation of networked environments and shared resources, and troubleshooting via default system tools and advanced diagnostic software.

In addition, IT Essentials provides training about appropriate lab procedures and effective tool use, safe connectivity and implementation of robust security, and personal communication skills.

Our next offering, from within the bouquet of courses that comprise CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate, with its world-renowned and recognized industry-standard certificate - will be CCNA Discovery. Made up of four sections, CCNA Discovery begins with a unit on 'Networking for Home and Small Businesses', wherein are the planning, preparation, setup and troubleshooting of small networks, implementation of file-sharing and security, and wireless network deployment. The second unit, titled 'Working at a Small-to-Medium Business or ISP' explores the principles and structure of communication and the Internet, Cisco IOS Devices, web services configuration and disaster recovery procedures. The third unit, 'Introducing Routing and Switching to the Enterprise' has its foundations in the OSI Model, from where it branches into the design of LANs and VLANs, preparation of Access Control Lists, Cisco Device routing protocols, and troubleshooting LANs, WANs and VLANs. The final unit, named 'Designing and Supporting Computer Networks', has its focus in designing networks based on client requirements, and to this end, delves into IP Addressing, and the installation and configuration of prototype networks.
