Responsibilities/Scope of Work:

• To lead the development of the WISP-in-a-box user interface. Integration with the following existing F/OSS packages will be needed: Trac, PhpMyPrepaid, Drupal, WiKis, SquirrelMail, Horde, etc.

• In addition to pure development work, some of your time will be dedicated to improving and maintaining our on web-based tools, based on F/OSS CMS systems such as Drupal, WordPress, WiKi systems, Trac, PhpMyPrepaid, forums and boards system, etc.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

• Extensive experience with web-programming under Linux/Apache. Strong PHP and Perl background, shell programming, Java and asp. Good familiarity with SQL backend (MySql) and general IP networking.

• Familiarity of in-depth IP networking concepts is a plus, as well as Squid, LDAP, and many web-based NMS systems, such as Nagios, MRTG/RRD, Cactus, Orca, Munin, smoke-ping, etc.

• Strong team worker, fluent English a must. Working knowledge of Hindi (read and write), and Tibetan languages an asset.
